Our client seeks a Broker Support Officer to join their sales team.
You will assist with the maintenance of broker files and details, and support a seamless introduction and ongoing relationships for key distributors with the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the successful delivery of the departmental objectives along with your own.
- Be a team player and contribute to the “one team” approach across sales.
- Take ownership of and resolve any queries through to a satisfactory conclusion.
- Support ongoing reviews and updating of procedures within the team and department.
- Responsible for the accurate and efficient completion of administrative tasks provided to you.
- Ensure pended work is reviewed, chased and closed within expected Timescales.
- Proactive, solutions-based approach to understanding issues which arise, and able to implement actions according to administrative policies and Procedures.
- Timely and professional contact with stakeholders should be maintained at all times.
Broker Administration Tasks Including:
- Setting up Terms of Business
- Cancellation of Terms of Business
- Agent cancellation
- Suitable Certifier cancellation
- Company Name Change
- Director/Shareholders changes
- Onboarding of Brokers
- Portal Set Up & Bolt On
- Scanning documents
- Migration clean-up of data
- Data Feed requests (Jira)
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the financial services or insurance industry.
- Familiarity with offshore financial markets and regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Competent in Microsoft applications: Including Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI, and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
