Aggregate information and cookies
Aggregate information is used to show us the total number of visits to our website and which parts of the site are used the most. Aggregate information does not identify individuals, as it does not contain any personal data. This information helps us in developing our website and improving the service we offer you.

Who might we share your information with?
We will only share certain information with potential employers. This includes CV and other information requested by the employer. This will only be shared with the employer upon your approval. We will never share information unless you have authorised us to do so.
For pre-employment screening, criminal checks, and credit checking purposes, we are required to share your information with third parties who are authorised to conduct checks. We will inform you beforehand of the information being shared and obtain your consent for the checks to be conducted.
We do not transfer personal information internationally, as this is not within our scope of business.
We do not sell the information we collect.
What do we do with your information?
Your information is filed within a secure piece of software which can only be accessed by us. For certain pieces of information, we are required to retain hard copy records. We have a clear desk policy within the offices, to ensure that your information cannot be accessed by unauthorised persons. Any paperwork is securely locked away when not being used.
How long do we keep hold of your information?
We will retain your information for as long as you are a candidate with us. This includes retaining your information when you have found work, or suspended your search, as you may return to us with requirements in the future. By signing up as a candidate, you consent to personal data being held and processed by us, for the purposes detailed above.
You are able to withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing recruitment@searchandselect.com. Please be aware, that once consent has been withdrawn your information will be deleted from our system and if you wish to return as a candidate in the future, we will be required to obtain the information again.
How can I access the information you hold about me?
You have the right to request the information we hold by emailing recruitment@searchandselect.com, determining the information you require access to. We will notify you within one month of the request if we are not able to provide the information you have requested, and why.
If the information you have requested is incorrect, please inform us immediately so that we can ensure we have the correct information retained. We will restrict the processing of the incorrect information until it has been corrected, and inform you when this has occurred.
Complaints regarding data protection
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Isle of Man Information Commissioner’s Office, whose contact details can be found at www.inforights.im.
