Our client is seeking a Director - IOM Local Markets to join their team.
 
The Director will deliver exceptional sales and business performance, whilst maintaining sound risk management, and building and maintaining highly proactive, long-term, internal and external business relationships. They will grow and develop a relationship with local Isle of Man corporate clients typically generating sustained revenue by becoming a “trusted advisor”.
 
Working with colleagues worldwide, the Director use relevant experience to acquire, develop and service client relationships according to their investment and core banking need, managing their client group within their risk profile and appropriate regulatory framework.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Actively manage and grow effective corporate client relationships.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure a holistic service for clients and introduce specialists as appropriate to support.
  • Manage solutions to meet a wide range of client needs, including banking, investments, foreign exchange and wealth structuring (trusts)
  • Construct credit proposals including risk analysis and mitigation for sanction by specialist team.
  • Ensure conformity with global and market standards of client service, product delivery and operating model.
  • Maintain regular proactive contact with clients and respond swiftly to queries and questions.
  • Demonstrate a quality understanding of the business and strategy of the clients within the portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities and convert them for long term commercial reward
  • Proactively acquire new clients through referrals from existing clients and relationships with a network of introducers.
  • Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policy standards.

  • Action oriented and organised with the ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously and prioritise accordingly.
  • Self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Able to demonstrate a logical and structured approach to achieving desired outcomes
  • Excellent written and oral communication with ability to communicate across all levels.
  • Display high integrity and trust due to the sensitive nature of information handled.
