Our client is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team - and for the right candidate, an Office Manager type role may also be considered.  
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a reputable firm, providing essential administrative and legal support while developing your skills in a fast-paced setting. From managing diaries and drafting legal documents to overseeing reception duties and time recording, your contribution will be instrumental in keeping operations running smoothly.  
 
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Audio typing and document preparation  
  • Reception duties, meeting and greeting clients  
  • Managing time recording and billing, including Legal Aid cases (training provided)  
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post  
  • Diary management and scheduling  
  • Raising invoices and financial administration  
  • Drafting legal documents under supervision  
  • Overseeing case archiving and court post box collections

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach  
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency  
  • Experience in diary management and correspondence handling  
  • Basic legal knowledge or a willingness to learn  
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset
