Our client seeks a Legal Secretary to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be confident managing key administrative and legal tasks. They will be handling everything from audio typing and reception duties, to drafting legal documents and managing post. With opportunities to develop new skills, this role suits someone adaptable, detail-oriented, and ready to hit the ground running!
Key Responsibilities:
- Audio typing
- Reception duties
- Time recording
- Logging incoming and outgoing post
- Keeping diaries
- Raising invoices
- Billing Legal Aid cases (with training)
- Drafting legal documents under supervision
- Daily emptying of Court post box
- Archiving cases that have been completed
Key Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage diaries
- Basic legal knowledge (or willingness to learn and train)
- Organisational skills for archiving and handling correspondence
- Strong attention to detail
