Our client seeks qualified lawyers to join their busy commercial litigation team.
Role Profile:
The litigation team advise on a wide range of dispute related matters, including complex commercial cases, shareholder disputes, director duties, trust disputes, civil fraud and asset tracing, insolvency and liquidations, banking disputes and financial services and regulatory matters.
As a valued member of the team you will provide assistance to the delivery of varied services, maintaining the high standards of the law firm.

Key Responsibilities
- Provision of accurate and comprehensive technical and strategic legal advice to our clients
- Running and case management of your own files and case load
- Provision of assistance to more senior advocates, as directed
- Helping to manage the progression of the senior advocates' case load
- Legal research and preparation of briefing notes
- Attending client meetings and calls and taking/circulating notes of the same
- Drafting of court papers and applications
- Assisting with disclosure and document management projects.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong and varied technical legal expertise
- Proficiency in drafting court papers, applications, and other legal documents.
- Ability to manage your own files and case load independently.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare detailed briefing notes.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and solve complex legal issues.
- Proven ability to handle a diverse and demanding workload, whilst meeting strict deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Eagerness to develop professionally and enhance skills in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn about the Isle of Man's legal system and commercial litigation landscape.
