About the Role
 
As a Senior Tax Manager, you'll navigate the complexities of tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, Isle of Man, Ireland, and the British Virgin Islands (BVI). Your insights and guidance will be instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance and optimizing tax strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Expert Guidance: Provide advice on UK Inheritance Tax (IHT) implications to clients and trustees.
  • Strategic Restructuring: Offer tax guidance on de-enveloping, liquidations, and restructuring.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee ATED and UK Corporation Tax returns, liaising with HMRC, and IOM Corporation Tax returns, working with the Income Tax Division.
  • Jurisdictional Reporting: Manage economic substance returns for BVI and oversee CRS/FATCA reporting.
  • Client Support: Assist with new business, trigger event TECF preparation, and CRS classification forms for financial institutions.
  • Broader Expertise: Conduct financial statement reviews and oversee VAT compliance processes (desirable).
  • Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop the tax and accounting team to drive success and innovation.
 
 
What We're Looking For
 
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Qualifications: Industry-recognized professional tax qualifications (achieved or in progress).
  • Added Advantage: Familiarity with VAT compliance and financial statement reviews is beneficial.
  • Skillset: A proactive problem-solver with exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
