About the Role: Our client, a well-established business with over 22 years in the industry, is looking for a Showroom Sales Assistant to join their team. Working closely with the Showroom Manager, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes customers, provides expert advice, and helps drive sales.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting customers with product selection and sales in a friendly and professional manner
- Processing customer orders efficiently
- Answering phone calls and responding to email inquiries
- Utilising computer systems to manage product details, orders, and processes
- Learning and using Virtual Worlds design software (full training provided)
- Ensuring the showroom is well-presented and stocked
- Occasionally traveling to meet clients (a valid driving license is required)
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills with a personable and approachable attitude
- Strong computer skills and ability to retain product knowledge
- Previous retail or merchant experience is beneficial but not essential
- A passion for design (or willingness to learn)
- A proactive, sales-driven mindset
