Supervision Officer

Our client seeks a Supervision Officer to join their Portfolio Supervision team.
 
You will assist in undertaking effective and efficient supervision of regulated entities, ensuring that they meet the requirements for supervision, AML/CFT legislation and guidance
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake appropriate preparation in advance of, and assist in conducting, inspections and general business meetings
  • Attend supervisory inspections and business meetings as appropriate, compiling detailed notes/minutes as appropriate.
  • Deal with enquiries (including complaints) in a courteous and constructive manner and ensure logged and reported to the Manager as appropriate.
  • Ensure all notifications received from entities are logged, risk rated and reported to the Manager in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the review and contribute to proposed new and changes in existing policies and legislation.
  • Provide administrative support in the maintenance of internal systems and procedures.
 
Key Skills & Experience
  • Educated to GCSE level or above and/or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working within an office environment and/or as part of a team.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, including accuracy, attention to detail and record keeping and filing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience of working in the financial services industry would be beneficial.
  • Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training or qualifications as and when required would be desirable.
  • Ability to provide administrative support as needed.
