Our client seeks a Test Analyst to join their team.
Role Profile: Responsible for delivering and managing test deliverables within the organisation. The role will be responsible for ensuring we design, develop and administer a series of test evaluations that identify any potential issues with products/systems before its general release.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the production and upkeep of key test artifacts: Test Strategy/Approach, Test Cases, Test Summary Report, Test Tasks
- Business requirements validation, ensuring requirements are concise and testable.
- Design validation, help ensure that the design meets the requirements and an understanding of how a specific design can be tested.
- Assist in the continued improvement of the testing framework.
- Managing the schedule and sequencing of testing.
- Providing test progress updates to the project team.
- Collaborating with the Change Team and external parties on better ways of working.
- Providing testing estimates
- Maintain productive relationships within the Change Team, IT and all Business teams
Key Skills and Experience:
- Ideally Professional Qualifications in Testing
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst within the Banking or Insurance and Investments world.
- Experience in working on large projects/programmes.
- Experience in delivering all test artifacts listed above
- Proficiency in using testing tools
- An understanding of the different project methodologies
- Beneficial - An understanding of how to navigate and write basic SQL scripts
- Beneficial - An understanding of automated test tools.
