Our client seeks a Trust manager to join their team.
Role Profile:
Responsible for the day to day management of a complex and varied portfolio of clients whilst working alongside the Management Team to supervise and oversee the delivery of Client Service. The role requires supervisory, coaching and leadership skills in managing the team.
The role holder will be expected to have the ability to manage clients and client advisors so as to resolve key issues effectively and select and deliver planned and effective solutions in a timely, operationally viable and cost-effective basis whilst protecting the integrity of the company.
The role also requires participation in marketing the business and involvement in the take on process of any new business. The role holder will be motivated and driven to deliver results, to aim high.
Key responsibilities:
- Day to day management and oversight of the Client Service team and Client portfolio, including building and maintaining good working relationships with both Clients and Intermediaries
- Directorships on client companies
- Financial management of your client portfolio
- Fee collection
- Monitoring the financial statement preparation process and related tax reporting
- Ensuring high standards of service delivery at all times,
- Ensuring a high standard of compliance with all regulatory obligations
Key Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Relevant professional qualification, i.e. STEP, Governance Institute, ACA, ACCA
- 10+ years in the TCSP industry with 2+ years in a management position
- Working knowledge of the current AML legislation and FSA rule book as they apply to a regulated TCSP
Desirable
- Investment knowledge
- Ability to identify and consider tax and legal implications of transactions
- Proven track record of managing a team within the TCSP sector
- Pragmatic with excellent problem-solving skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- A team player with ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to produce quality work to deadlines
- Be driven and highly motivated to progress
- Hands on and efficient approach to the management and development of others, encouraging collaboration
- PC and MS Office literate
- Structured approach to work, with excellent organisational skills
- Self-motivated

- Effective manager and adapter to change
