Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Administration to lead a high-performing administration team within a medium sized well-established Trust and Company office based in the Isle of Man. This pivotal role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with proven leadership skills, technical expertise in Corporate Services Provision (CSP) and a drive to foster a collaborative and motivated working environment.  
You will oversee a small, skilled team of 3 Senior Trust Managers and 2 Trust Administrators, ensuring exceptional performance, efficiency, and teamwork. While this role does not involve managing a client portfolio, you will play a key part in aligning operational performance with business objectives.  
 
Key Responsibilities:  
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of professionals, fostering an environment of mutual support and accountability.
  • Drive performance by setting clear goals and supporting the team in achieving them.
  • Promote professional growth through knowledge-sharing, training, and development opportunities.
Operational Management:
  • Streamline administrative processes to improve efficiency while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and client service expectations are exceeded.
  • Actively engage in problem-solving and hands-on support when required.
Commercial Oversight:
  • Contribute to the overall business strategy by aligning team objectives with commercial goals.
  • Monitor performance metrics to ensure profitability and operational excellence.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of CSP and Trust Administration to guide the team in handling complex matters.
  • Stay informed about industry changes, legal developments, and best practices, ensuring the team remains compliant.
 
Key Competencies:
  • Proven leadership experience in a managerial or head of position.
  • Strong knowledge of CSP and Trust Administration processes and technical requirements.
  • Exceptional organisational and decision-making abilities, with a focus on process optimisation.
  • A motivational approach to team leadership, with the ability to inspire trust and encourage collaboration.
  • Commercial awareness and strategic thinking to align operations with business objectives.
  • Hands-on and proactive, with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude.
 
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a leadership role within the CSP or Trust Administration sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a diverse team of professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
