Our client seeks a Legal Secretary to join their team.
 
Role Profile:
We are seeking a secretary to join a Douglas Law office and provide secretarial support across the departments within a busy firm. The work covers many different areas and you would be part of a team consisting of two other secretaries.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Audio typing, preparing, and amending draft documents.
  • Making and receiving telephone calls and dealing with emails.
  • Making appointments and assisting with queries.
  • Photocopying, filing and general office duties including opening files and preparing completed file storage.
  • Providing reception cover when needed.
 
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Experience as a secretary and understanding of the need for confidentiality.
  • Well-organised, careful, conscientious approach.
  • Punctual and efficient, with strong communication skills both with colleagues and clients
  • A team player, but with the ability to use initiative to work independently
  • Good literacy skills and numeracy skills.
